We find him very small, during a meal with friends, lying under the table with the dog, without wanting to meet anyone else. Easier to communicate with nature and animals rather than with human beings.Requires a healthy and respectful hierarchy. Major discomfort in hierarchical relationships, whatever they may be.Need for justice and coherence in his life, on all levels. Here are some characteristics that are unique to many indigo.ĭo you recognize yourself in any of them? He opened her third eye, consciously or not, which makes him very intuitive. This hue indicates that the person perceives the true nature of things, beyond matter. We speak of an indigo child as soon as this colour appears on the periphery of the aura, about 50 cm from the physical envelope. Thereafter, he will either forge new bonds of friendship, or reconnect with the same people, who will have accepted his change.

It often happens that he experiences a moment of great loneliness. His circle of friends generally has difficulty following his evolution. You may have already known someone in your entourage who, following an accident, illness, bereavement, separation or other, suddenly becomes aware that he is alive! Often, he drastically changes his life, work, interests, etc. That said, it is possible for any soul to activate the “indigo mode” at all times of their life, through deep awareness. This is the case when it comes to a state that he already knew before returning to Earth. Often, indigos wear this shade from birth because the soul has directly incarnated with it. The purpose of this article is to address everyone, in the hope of accompanying some. You may also be from this family yourself and you must be an adult. Is he the next stage of evolution, or a force from beyond the stars? Whatever the answers, I look forward to where future issues take us. Indigo Children #1 delivers a tightly plotted, starkly illustrated sci-fi thriller that raises just as many questions as it answers. In fact, between this and No/One, Image is mastering the art of delivering explosive new comics. I’ve always believed that the first issue of a comic should give the readers a reason to pick up the next issue, and Indigo Children #1 delivers on that front. This is a tricky balancing act to pull off, but pull it off the creators have. Like any good mystery, the story contains enough to get readers hooked but also doesn’t reveal enough to give away future issues. It also underlines my belief that telepathy is one of the scariest superpowers ever, but that’s a story for another day. That same purple hue even seeps into letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou’s work, with Alexei’s telepathic messages literally weaving into the air around Price. Cunniffe uses more subdued colors, save for the bursts of violet that accompany Alexei when he uses his powers. As for the action, when it happens it happens in quick and violent bursts – quite literally with the plane explosion. Diotto’s artwork feels far more grounded and textured than your usual superhero/sci-fi adventure readers will be able to see the lines of age on a professor’s face as well as the stubble lining Price’s chin. While Image may have billed this as “ Radiant Black meets Department of Truth“, it honestly feels more like “ All The Presidents’ Men meets Chronicle.”Īrtists Alex Diotto and Dee Cunniffe lean into the thriller aspect as well. There’s clandestine meetings, assassination attempts and jumps back and forth in time. The end result feels like a tightly plotted political thriller, and writer Curt Pires (working from a story he concocted with Rockwell White) leans into the window dressing you’d might expect from such a story. Unlike Image’s other superpowered series, Indigo Children #1 takes a slow burn approach and sprinkles in the fantastic elements as time goes by.
